ADX 200 Metal Detector from XP

The major strength of the XP ADX 200 Metal Detetctor is its ease of operation, combined with very good detecting power and above-average discrimination capabilities. The ADX 200 has two control knobs and a 3-way toggle switch - the sensitivity knob (on the left) enables you to adjust how much power is put into the search coil and, consequently, affects the search depth. Generally, you set the sensitivity as high as you can without getting false signals. In most cases, you should be able to run the machine at full power with no problems. The right-hand knob sets the discrimination, enabling you to reject unwanted objects. The toggle switch has three positions: 1) AM stands for "all metal" searching, disabling the Discrimination setting and enabling you to find literally all metals 2) D1 enables you to adjust the discrimination (right-hand knob) from "all metal" up to rejecting "Large Iron". 3) D2 This setting will activate the second range rejecting Iron up to large foil.
